Euro 2024 in Germany logo

Getting home via Hahn

Calling Hahn Airport 'Frankfurt' is naughty. It's as bad as calling Luton Airport 'London'.

It takes 2 hours to get to Hahn Airport from Frankfurt. And there is no railway station at the airport either

Coach shuttle from Frankfurt International or the main station

Thankfully there is a regular coach shuttle service (scheduled to tie in with Ryanair departures) that runs to Hahn from Frankfurt International Airport (FRA) and from Frankfurt am Main railway station.

The service is operated by Flibco.

Getting to Frankfurt by train

Whether you take the coach shuttle to Hahn from Frankfurt International Airport or Frankfurt main railway station (Hauptbahnhof / Hbf), you can get to either of those places via ICE express trains. And if you have a Euro 2024 match ticket, you can do so for just €29.90 on the special Deutsche Bahn fare for fans attending the Euros.

Getting to Frankfurt by coach

You can also get to Frankfurt from cities like Cologne and Stuttgart for fares starting from under €6 on a FlixBus coach, Germany's leading operator of long-distance coach travel.
