Frankfurt Hahn Airport

The small town of Hahn is 75 miles away from Frankfurt. The airport there is called 'Frankurt Hahn' only by Ryanair, who use it for flights into that area of Germany. Otherwise it is known as Hahn Airport.

As a result of its location, it can take over 2 hours to get to Frankfurt city centre. However, a regular coach shuttle service runs between the airport and Frankfurt main station, operated by flibco.com

If you were going straight from the airport to the Deutsche Bank Park (aka Frankfurt Arena for the Euros), the quickest you can do it in is about 2 hours 20 minutes (on a flibco.com bus to Mainz and then the S8 metro train heading for Offenbach Ostbahnhof, alighting at Frankfurt am Main Stadion). These and other journeys from the airport by public transport can be planned via the VRM regional public transport website

If you're planning on picking up a hire car at the airport, the only well-known car rental company that appears to operate there is Europcar.
